, drawing on the fly, a front or back camera overlay, text and banner overlays and trimming. The blunt part: it carries the Contains ads label, the listing states neither a watermark policy, a resolution cap, an audio source nor a time limit, and the developer's own privacy policy says internal audio is not possible.
The listing's scope line is designed to be fully featured, without any kind of restritions and without requiring root
, spelling as printed. That policy, an undated page read 24 September 2026, states: Microphone - This permission is necessary so ADV can record external audio from the phone sounds speakers (Game) or from the user, currently it's not possible to record internal audio

ByteRevApps publishes no website beyond that page, so what the $0.99 buys is not documented. Skip this if. Skip it if you need game or app sound in the file: every other developer here that states an audio policy states internal audio from Android 10.

The page shows the sound options as images rather than words, so this page prints only what Samsung writes, a Sound setting, and does not claim which audio sources it lists.
Google's help page names an audio choice and a touch indicator, nothing more. What the listings above add, each on its own terms, is a printed cap you can hold the app to, a facecam window on eleven of the thirteen, a pause control on seven, XRecorder, AZ Screen Recorder, Vidma REC, Screen Recorder Unlimited, Screen Recording App, V Recorder and ADV, an auto-stop timer on Screen Recording App, automatic clip capture on Medal, RTMP streaming on XRecorder and Super Screen Recorder, segment saving on Super Screen Recorder, an editor on ScreenPal and V Recorder, and cloud sharing by link on Loom. The price of that is on the same listings: seven of the thirteen carry the Contains ads label, eight print an in-app purchase range, and only four carry neither, Screen Recorder Unlimited, Screen Recording App, Loom and Medal, of which Loom sells its plans on the web and Medal posts clips to its own cloud.
Seven of the thirteen listings print a resolution with a frame rate and V Recorder prints Full HD alone, all read 24 September 2026; the table quotes each cap as the listing writes it. Five print no cap at all: Vidma REC, ScreenPal, Loom, Medal and ADV. Two of those five have a figure elsewhere, 1080p in Vidma's FAQ and 720p on Loom's Starter plan, and the table says where each comes from; the other three are unknown, not low. A figure above 1080p needs a second look: AZ Screen Recorder qualifies its 4K as available to some users and devices, Recgo's 480p to 4k line carries no bitrate above its 1080p figure, and only Mobizen and Super Screen Recorder attach a bitrate to a figure above 1080p. 2K on the Super Screen Recorder listing and 1440P on Mobizen's describe the same class of resolution, and the bitrate, printed in Mbps, is what separates them, because at a given resolution a higher bitrate means a larger file for every minute recorded and less compression damage in fast motion. Every developer here that states an audio floor names Android 10, and that is Google's rule rather than theirs. Google's own documentation, read 24 September 2026, states The AudioPlaybackCapture API was introduced in Android 10
and By default, apps that target Android 10 (API level 29) or higher allow their audio to be captured
, and it describes how an app switches that off with a manifest flag and which audio can be captured at all, playback marked as media, game or unknown (Android developers, capture video and audio playback). So a video call app or a game that opts out records silent on every recorder on this page and on the built-in one, and four developers say so in their own words: Loom cannot record internal audio from apps connected to a phone or video call, Vidma says sound may not be completely captured on ZOOM, Google Meet or WhatsApp, Recgo calls it a limitation it cannot bypass, and Medal says not all games support it. ADV's developer goes further and says internal audio is not possible in its app at all. No listing here promises to record any app, and this page does not either.
The Requires Android line tells you whether the app installs, not whether internal audio works. XRecorder is the clearest case: it installs from Android 8.0 and states internal audio ONLY on Android 10 or above, read 24 September 2026, so a phone on Android 8 or 9 installs it and records the microphone alone. Eight print an in-app purchase range, from ADV's single $0.99 per item to V Recorder's $0.99 to $179.99 per item, all read 24 September 2026. Only three developers publish what the money buys: AZ's listing ties its purchases to removing advertising, ScreenPal's plans page prices its desktop subscriptions, and Loom's pricing page prices its web plans. Six publish nothing: XRecorder, V Recorder, Super Screen Recorder, Recgo, Mobizen and ADV, and each card above says so. For XRecorder and V Recorder in particular, read the trial screen before tapping: what the subscription costs once the trial ends, how long the trial runs, and where it is cancelled, which on Android is the Subscriptions page inside the Play Store app rather than inside the recorder. Vidma REC is the opposite case, advertising with no purchase that removes it, and the table says so plainly.
Only Screen Recording App names the format, MP4, and the folder, Movies or a location you pick, on its listing. Mobizen, Super Screen Recorder and XRecorder name an SD card option. Loom saves to its cloud first and Medal posts clips to Medal's, so on those two the file is somewhere else until you download it. The other seven listings document neither the format nor the folder, read 24 September 2026, which is a gap rather than a fault; a recorder that saves to the device will normally show its output in the phone's gallery or files app under its own folder. The AZ Screen Recorder listing on the United States storefront, read 24 September 2026, prints NO watermark and NO time limit in its advantages list, and the developer's home page, risenapps.com, read 24 September 2026, describes the app as recording with no watermark. The XRecorder listing, read 24 September 2026, states internal audio recording without noise ONLY on Android 10 or above, while its Requires Android line reads 8.0, so a phone on Android 8 or 9 installs the app and records the microphone alone. Mobizen's listing was updated on 1 July 2026 and read 24 September 2026, rates 4.3 from 3,343,521 reviews at 100,000,000+ installs, and states that you can record the screen without watermark for free using Clean mode, which confirms a default watermark and a free way to remove it. Loom's listing, read 24 September 2026, carries no in-app purchase range because plans are sold on loom.com, and loom.com/pricing, read the same day, lists the Starter plan at $0 with 25 videos, 5 minute screen recordings and video quality up to 720p; the Business plan at $18 per user a month adds unlimited recording time. Four listings print a figure above 1080p, read 24 September 2026: Mobizen 1440P at 24.0 Mbps and 60 fps, Super Screen Recorder 2K at 12 Mbps and 60 fps, AZ Screen Recorder HD to 4K with the qualifier that 4K is only available to some users and devices, and Recgo adjustable resolution (from 480p to 4k) beside its 1080p, 12Mbps, 60FPS line. Only Mobizen and Super Screen Recorder attach a bitrate to the higher figure. Four other listings stop at 1080p and five print no cap.
